COLLINE DEL PROSECCO - TREVISO

Sparkling art: bubbles and art in the Prosecco Hills

per person

A sparkling tour of the Prosecco hills with a strong artistic slant, differentiated according to the events taking place between late July and late October in this beautiful area.

How does an artist feel at the height of his creative phase? Totally immersed in the breathtaking nature of the Prosecco Hills landscape, we will have the opportunity to experience this feeling, touching various art forms that characterize this territory, the expression of a land that has been able to translate its traditions into its true essence. The Prosecco Hills, a landscape masterfully painted by nature itself, stand out like a breathtaking work of art in the heart of the Veneto region. These gently undulating reliefs, with their tidy, passionately tended vineyards, seem to dance in harmony with the gentle wind that blows through the rows.
A journey of comfort and art, a carefree stay that traces the history of the heritage of this Treviso area, amidst a Metodo Classico, a sculpture by Antonio Canova and exclusive experiences.

Day 1
We arrive at our hotel, I giardini di Villa Marcello Marinelli, an enchanted, historic and elegant place. In the evening we enjoy a good glass of wine inside the wine bar and dine on typical Veneto products.
2
Day 2
today is Vespa day!  We set off with the wind in our hair toward Valdobbiadene, gliding through the hills until arriving to the Fasol Menin winery, a place where art and wine come together to give a new image to the traditional winery. Here we will try our hand at an inspiring painting session, letting the landscape all around inspire us (maybe helped by the wine from the winery as well!) Recharged with positive energy, we can wander through the hills, stop at the first osteria to eat some typical Veneto products of the area and then head to Asolo, the "City of a Hundred Horizons" in the words of Giosuè Carducci. Beloved and frequented by many illustrious personalities, it is a real gem that will surprise us with its narrow streets and unexpected views. After dinner we move a few more kilometers to Possagno, a town renowned for the birthplace given to the genius Antonio Canova and governed precisely by the Canova temple. We will have the exclusive opportunity to visit the Gypsotheca, a museum that collects all the artist's most important works, by candlelight, living a magical and prestigious experience.
3
Day 3
we are headed to Villa Sandi, a spectacle of Palladian-style architectural art. After the guided tour we will have the chance to get our hands in the dough in the true sense of the expression: we will discover how to create with our hands some traditional Veneto dishes thanks to a cooking class led by a professional chef, who will give us Food&Wine pairing tips. This workshop will be followed by lunch at the spectacular Locanda Sandi, a rustic farmhouse furnished in perfect country-chic style, with a warm and familiar atmosphere. In case of long weekend, after this unique experience, we have three alternatives depending on the period: Follina, CastelBrando, Lake Revine and Lago Film Festival in late July/early August. Follina, CastelBrando, Night Harvest at Sarah's Vineyard in mid-September. Cantina Pizzolato/ Nonno Andrea, Teatro del Pane from late September to late October.

Day 4
the last day has arrived, but we can choose whether to take the last ride through the Prosecco DOCG Hills on horseback, try our hand at cheese making at a local farm, or attend some of the workshops or events offered by the Lago Film Festival.
